Multunus Software Private Limited (“Company” or “We” and their connotations) operates a website – (URL: https://practicenow.us) (together called as “Platform”) which is engaged in the service of providing a digital platform for class management and customer relationship management of online and offline classes.

This policy is meant to help you understand more about why we collect and use your data whether you’re a PracticeNow customer or a student/subscriber to a PracticeNow site who uses the PracticeNow application or services (together known as, the “Services”), or even if you’re just visiting the PracticeNow website.

By using any of PracticeNow’s Services or by interacting with a PracticeNow customer using the Services, you are agreeing to the terms of the Privacy Policy and, as applicable, the PracticeNow Terms of Service. This policy does not apply to information collected by any third party, including through any application or content that may be accessible from this website.

Teacher: Refers to the individual or institution that signs up to the PracticeNow platform to manage and offer online and offline classes to students.
Student: Refers to the individual who signs up with a Teacher using the PracticeNow platform to participate in online and offline classes.


Data Collection and Usage

PracticeNow collects and processes information from Teachers to provide the platform’s services, including class management and customer relationship management. Teachers are responsible for their own data collection and usage practices with students.


Third-Party Interactions and Teacher’s Privacy Practices

Teachers may engage with third-party services in connection with their use of PracticeNow’s services. PracticeNow is not responsible for the Teacher’s individual privacy practices or any third-party interactions.


Consent and Agreement

By using PracticeNow’s services, you (the Teacher) agree to this Privacy Policy. Please review this policy carefully for a complete understanding.


Information / Data We Collect and Use

In order to provide Services, we may require users to give us contact information (like your name, address, telephone number and email address), and demographic information (like your zip code/pin code). As a member, you may also be required to provide a valid email address, Gender, Age, Medical Condition information for registration and choose a username or alias that represents your identity on our Website.

This information is compiled and analysed on an aggregated basis. This information may include the URL that you just came from (whether this URL is on the Site or not), which URL you next go to (whether this URL is on the Site or not), your computer browser information, your IP address, and other information associated with your interaction with the Site.

We also collect information from your user ID associated with any social media account (such as your Facebook and Google account) that users use to sign in to the Platform or connect with or use our Services. When you sign in with your social media account information, or otherwise, connect to your social media account with the Platform, you consent to our collection, storage, and use, in accordance with this Privacy Policy, of the information that you make available to us through the social media interface. This includes, without limitation, any information that you have made public through your social media account, information that the social media service shares with us or information that is disclosed during the sign-up and sign-in processes.

We also collect and store personal information provided by you from time to time on the Site. We only collect and use such information from you that we consider necessary for achieving a seamless, efficient and safe experience, customized to your needs including (but not limited to):

  • To enable the provision of services opted for by you;

Further, you may from time to time choose to provide payment related financial information (credit card, debit card, bank account details, billing address etc.) on the Site. We are committed to keeping all such sensitive data/information safe at all times and ensure that such data/information is only transacted over secure Site of approved payment gateways which are digitally encrypted, and provide the highest possible degree of care available under the technology presently in use.

To the extent possible, we provide you with the option of not divulging any specific information that you wish for us not to collect, store or use. You may also choose not to use a particular service or feature on the Site, and opt-out of any non-essential communications from the Company.

Further, transacting over the internet has inherent risks which can only be avoided by following security practices yourself, such as not revealing account/login related information to any other person and informing our customer care/support team about any suspicious activity or where your account has/may have been compromised.

Information / Data Our Customers Use

In case the above information is collected from a student / subscriber to a PracticeNow site that uses PracticeNow Services, we may share that information with our Customer who uses that PracticeNow site. This information may be used by that Customer to provide a seamless, efficient and safe experience, customized to your needs including (but not limited to):

  • To enable the provision of services opted for by you;
  • To communicate necessary account and product/service related information from time to time;
  • To allow you to receive quality customer care services;

We do not take any responsibility for the use of this information by our Customers with whom you have shared this information. 

Our disclosure of Your Information

Due to the existing regulatory environment, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. By way of example (without limiting and foregoing), we may be forced to disclose information to the government, law enforcement agencies or third parties. Under certain circumstances, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, or members may abuse or misuse your information that they collect from our Platform. Therefore, although we use industry-standard practices to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personally identifiable information or private communications would always remain private.

As a matter of policy, we do not sell or rent any personally identifiable information about you to any third party. However, the following describes some of the ways that your personally identifiable information may be disclosed:

Payments

We use Razorpay.com and Stripe.com for processing payments. We/Razorpay/Stripe do not store your card data on their servers. The data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) when processing payment. Your purchase transaction data is only used as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is not saved.

Our payment gateway partners adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
